What is Riverview Press?
Riverview Press is a small, independently operated publishing assistant. Established in 2023, Riverview Press specializes in new authors who may not be familiar with the publishing process. Usually only assisting one author at a time, Riverview is able to give undivided attention to your project. You can rest at ease, assured that your manuscript is in good hands. Your questions and concerns will be handled in a timely manner. Your book will be professionally created to your specifications.
Who is Riverview Press?
Rosemary J. Fisher is your contact person at Riverview Press. She will work with you, guiding you along the publishing journey. Rosemary will be with you through editing of the rough draft, choosing a cover, finalizing layout and setting prices. She will explain royalties and purchasing. Rosemary will be your liaison with the team of professionals who work to get your manuscript ready for publication.
A relatively new author herself, Rosemary clearly remembers the uncertainties she felt when publishing her first book in 2021. She didn’t know what to expect or who to trust. When she called her publishing company, she was often shuffled from one assistant to another and never really felt like anyone cared about her work.
That will never be the case with Riverview Press. Rosemary will get to know you and learn about the goals you have for your book. She will personally read your manuscript and give you editing feedback. She will support you in every step of the process.
What Professionals work with Riverview Press?
Riverview works in conjunction with professionals at Writer’s Branding who assist with layout, cover design and preparation of your fiction or non-fiction manuscript. Riverview partners with PageLink Solutions to publish children’s books. In addition, Riverview uses IngramSpark for book distribution and royalty payouts.
What does Riverview publish?
Riverview does have a few restrictions. We will not print any material that is anti-American in nature. We will not print anything deemed pornographic. We will not print anything that expresses an anti-God message. We will not print extreme violence or gore.
All genres are accepted. Riverview Press will select materials with a positive message. Our publications should be clean, uplifting, entertaining, instructional or helpful. We encourage authors to express themselves within these parameters.
